Interaction
A student applies for financial support through the Student Loans Company. SLC assesses eligibility, calculates entitlement, and arranges payment of Tuition Fee Loans directly to education providers and Maintenance Loans to students. Payments continue while the student remains eligible, with repayments beginning after study once income thresholds are met. SLC works with education providers, devolved administrations, and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to ensure accurate payment and repayment.
